Rotorua Venues

Our venues are close to the Rotorua city centre, and most are within walking distance of major Rotorua hotels, cafes, restaurants, and beautiful Lake Rotorua.

At the heart of our business philosophy is a commitment to partnership. We value long-term collaborations built on transparent communication, shared information, collective teamwork, joint market development investment, and a forward-thinking, strategic approach.

  • The perfect venue for conferences, exhibitions, banquets, sporting events and concerts. Versatile and consummate, incorporating no less than ten separate spaces and comprehensive services. Positioned at the edge of Lake Rotorua, the Energy Events Centre’s unique location within the picturesque Government Gardens provides extensive car parking and is also within easy walking distance of the retail precinct, accommodation, restaurants, cafes and spa facilities.

  • The Sir Howard Morrison Centre is a vibrant, fit-for-purpose performing arts venue in the heart of Rotorua CBD. This space is an outstanding regional event facility with the 950+ seat Sir Owen Glenn Theatre at the centre. The Sir Howard Morrison Centre offers several flexible spaces that can be utilised for business events and adapted for use in various configurations.

  • Dating back to 1903, Te Runanga Tea House is one of Rotorua’s most nostalgic venues. Located within the heart of the picturesque Government Gardens and adjacent to Rotorua city centre, Te Runanga (The Meeting House) combines quaint charm with historical character. Built as a tea pavillion in 1903, Te Runanga served as a social centre for spa facilities where visitors could relax early last century.

Its location, mid-way between the Sir Howard Morrison Performing Arts Centre and the Energy Events Centre, makes is great for an extra breakout room. Combined with its charm and character, the position of the Tea House means the venue attracts many smaller conference and incentive groups seeking something extra special.
