The Sir Don Rowlands Centre is on of New Zealand’s most versatile Event venues. Situated on the lakes edge with its stunning views of Mt Maungatautari and the scenic Lake Karapiro, it is the ideal setting for any event. The Centre is a multipurpose complex and is easily transformed from classroom to exhibition to dinner settings, and is an ideal HQ for large events.
The Centre features rooms of varying sizes, including the Main Hall, Waipa Room, Karāpiro Room, Te Manawa o Matariki Room and Perry Community Water sports Centre. The outdoor deck provides the perfect viewing spot for any event happening on the water. The Centre's grandstand seats 700 people.
